PS2 Launch Titles

Action | Adventure | Fighting | Puzzle | Racing | RPG | Sports | Strategy

While the Nintendo 64 may have been somewhat of a slight acceptance to the rule, games will always make-or-break a console. There isn’t any one way around the fact that if a certain machine doesn’t have the right software, it’s doomed to fail. Don’t believe me? Just take a trip down memory lane and examine the success of the Jaguar and the 3D0 compared to their games, respectively. Thankfully, Sony’s PlayStation 2 will not be lacking good games. In fact, there’s an overwhelming amount of quality software on the verge for the PS2, not to mention that the launch lineup isn’t too shabby. As a result, PSGF has split up each individual genre and it’s games so you, the reader, can figure out what’s right and wrong for your tastes.
