FFX Announcement Soon?

In an interview with Japanese gaming magazine Dengeki-Oh, a representative from Square, when talking about Square's lineup for 2001, commented:

"Surely the biggest is Final Fantasy X. However, in addition, we have the FF movie, PlayOnline, the WonderSwan; we really have lots of things coming up next year. But the details are still...secret."

"Anyway, for the opening of the New Year, we would like to make an announcement regarding FFX, in some form or another. Please look forward to it."

So he doesn't state that there will definitely be a FFX announcement at the beginning of the year, but it looks like a good possibility.  And if you remember Square's Millenium Conference from last year, I'd say it's a pretty sure bet we'll get new FFX details soon.
