Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance Announced

Black Isle Studios has announced that Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance will ship for the PS2 sometime this fall.  Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance is a completely original RPG developed exclusively for the PS2.  Dark Alliance will be developed by Snowblind Studios, and is set to feature new special effects and abilities not found in previous Baldur's Gate games.  It will also utilize the latest Dungeons & Dragons rule set.
